Alpha Aviation Marine Academy FAQ

We offer Aviation courses including Air Hostess, Cabin Crew, Airport Ground Staff, CSA, Flight Steward and Airport Operations training, along with Marine & Merchant Navy courses such as GP Rating, Deck Cadet, Engine Cadet, Seaman, AB, Oiler, Wiper, STCW and Pre-Sea Training.

Eligibility generally requires completion of higher secondary education (10+2), along with the communication skills and personal presentation expected for cabin crew roles. Specific age and physical criteria can vary by airline — our counsellors will guide you individually.

Similar to Air Hostess training, candidates should have completed 10+2 education and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detailed eligibility is reviewed during your career counselling session.

You can enrol directly in our Airport Ground Staff program after completing 10+2 education. The course covers check-in, baggage handling, ramp operations and passenger coordination, followed by placement assistance.

GP Rating (General Purpose Rating) is an entry-level Merchant Navy program that trains candidates for both deck and engine room duties aboard a ship, making it a common pathway into a seafaring career.

Start with a career counselling session to identify the right entry point — GP Rating, Deck Cadet, Engine Cadet or Pre-Sea Training — based on your education and interests. We guide you through enrolment, training and documentation.

Course duration varies by program, ranging from short-term certification courses to more comprehensive Aviation or Merchant Navy training. Our counsellors will share exact timelines for your chosen course.
